A Year-Long Journey of Growth and Connection
The Birmingham Jewish Federation is proud to partner with Momentum Unlimited, whose mission is to empower women to change the world through Jewish values that transform themselves, their families, and their communities. Their flagship program, the MOMentum Year-Long Journey, empowers women to connect to Jewish values, engage with Israel, take action, and foster unity, without uniformity.
The MOMentum Experience
In partnership with more than 290 Jewish organizations worldwide, Momentum invites Jewish mothers on a profound, personal 8-day experience in Israel, during which they explore the Jewish homeland, take in inspiring Jewish wisdom, and join a global sisterhood.
The Momentum year-long journey is for Jewish mothers with children under 18 living in the home. This is a heavily subsidized trip. Each participant on the women’s trip receives a $3,650 scholarship, 80% provided by Momentum and 20% provided by the Birmingham Jewish Federation. This does not include airfare, a $99 acceptance fee, $75 for tips and $25 for the Year of Growth Program.
