Mayor-Elect Randall Woodfin To Speak At Annual Community Event

The Birmingham Jewish Federation is excited to announce that at the upcoming Birmingham Jewish Federation/Foundation/Israel Bonds annual community event, Birmingham Mayor-Elect Randall Woodfin (pictured here) will be the guest speaker. The event is on Sunday, Oct. 29 and is open to the entire community.
Mr. Woodfin, who was born and raised in Birmingham, recently won the mayoral race against long-time mayor William Bell. The Birmingham Jewish community thanks Mayor Bell for his service to Birmingham and his commitment to the Jewish community and support for Israel.
Mayor-Elect Woodfin attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and immediately started working for the City of Birmingham after he graduated with his law degree.
Mr. Woodfin previously served on the Birmingham City Schools Board of Education and has a passion for driving the city forward.
We are excited to have Mayor-Elect Woodfin share his vision of Birmingham with our community. He will be discussing his plan for the City of Birmingham, as well as some important issues that he campaigned on.  The evening will also be a great way for him to get to know our Jewish community even better.
Please join us to hear from Mr. Woodfin on Oct. 29. The event will take place at Temple Emanu-El. A reception will begin at 4 pm and the event will start at 5 pm.
